Choir Rehearsal Attendance Commitment
Thank you for your commitment to our choir. Each member plays an important role
in the success of our ensemble, and regular rehearsal attendance is essential to
achieving our shared musical goals.
To ensure that our choir is well-prepared for performances, members are asked to:
- Attend rehearsals consistently and make choir participation a priority.
-
Practice at home to learn your music, so that rehearsal time is used for
learning how to sing songs as an ensemble.
- Arrive on time and remain for the entire rehearsal.
- Notify the director as soon as possible if an absence is unavoidable.
- Review missed music and come prepared for the next rehearsal.
We understand that illness, family responsibilities, work obligations, and
unexpected circumstances may occasionally prevent attendance. We simply ask that
you communicate with the director whenever possible so that rehearsals can be
planned effectively.
Because each rehearsal builds on the previous one, members who miss three or more
rehearsals during a concert cycle may be asked to sit out that concert if the
director determines that additional rehearsal is needed to ensure the quality of
the performance. This decision will be made with fairness and the best interests
of both the individual singer and the choir as a whole.
Your dedication, preparation, and faithful participation contribute to a positive
and rewarding experience for every member of the choir. Thank you for sharing your
time and talents as we work together to offer our very best.
